Emotional intelligence or EI is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions, and those of the people around you. People with a high degree of emotional intelligence know what they’re feeling, what their emotions mean, and how these emotions can affect other people.
This short course focuses on the self-awareness and emotional intelligence required to be an effective leader. These skills will help junior leaders to understand their own strengths, areas for growth and how to adapt themselves to the people they manage.
Units of competency included:
Regular scheduled training sessions facilitated by highly qualified, professional trainers.
This delivery mode will also allow you to undertake self-directed learning activities in your workplace and receive support and feedback from your facilitator. Once you have had the opportunity to apply your learnings in the workplace, you will be required to undertake a final assessment workbook that incorporates a set of tasks for completion. These tasks may include written questions, projects, or simulated tasks.

This delivery mode will enable you to still have the benefit of a live class environment, and the ability to undertake self-directed learning activities in your workplace and receive support and feedback from your facilitator.

This option may suit individuals who can attend some but not all of the face-to-face sessions described above and are happy to do some of the course via distance.
