RII40615 Certificate IV I Civil Construction Operations

This qualification reflects the role of specialist civil construction personnel who perform technical specialist tasks.

They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine.

They are responsible for applying the site work instructions and practices to ensure the quantity and quality of their outputs and contribute to the development of technical solutions for non-routine problems

There are no pre-requisites or licensing requirements for entry. Delivery is a mix of theory and practical application, on the job. Assessment will include observation of day to day activities together with feedback from an appropriate supervisor or subject matter expert. Recognition of Prior Learning is available.

Upon successful completion of Certificate IV in Civil Construction Operations graduates may choose to undertake further study in related fields or qualifications.

RII50415 Diploma of Civil Construction Management

This qualification reflects the role of personnel working on a single or a group of Civil construction sites, who perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and require the application of significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment/roles/techniques for themselves and others.

They are required to develop site specific work instructions and practices to ensure the implementation of the site management systems, plans and policies.

They demonstrate the application of a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills.

There are no pre-requisites or licensing requirements for entry. Delivery is a mix of theory and practical application, on the job. Assessment will include observation of day to day activities together with feedback from an appropriate supervisor or subject matter expert. Recognition of Prior Learning is available.
